On a Friday, we are going to be developing our skills in creativity by having a Genius Hour. Last week we started by thinking about 'big' questions; things we wonder about in life. This week we talked about the rules we will follow and then went on to make something out of cardboard. At the end of the session we shared our creations; reflecting on what went well and what we would adapt next time.

Class 5/6 visit St Rognvald's
After our successful day with the nursery it was time to get ready to go to the local Residential Home. We wrote our own Christmas stories and practised some musical pieces. On the day everyone 'shone' and played their part with confidence. We all felt really good about sharing the Christmas spirit in our community.
Christmas with the Nursery
Our session with the bairns from the nursery was a huge success. The class spent the first part of the morning setting up each of the activities so when the little ones came along there was lots of interesting things to do. Everyone made different Christmas items such as an elf from a paper plate, a reindeer headband and a gingerbread man. They also took part in different games such as
throwing the hoop on Santa's hat and fishing for candy canes. Lots of learning and lots of fun!
