Class 6 set off on Friday to find out about the history of the Bishop's and Earl's Palace. Having done the Vikings last session they extended their knowledge of Kirkwall further on this visit. They will use this understanding to fulfill their roles as tour guides during Term 4. This year the project will take place at the same time as the commemoration of the death of St Magnus. Watch this space to find out how they continue to do in this exciting opportunity!

Class 6 learn about The Global Goals
Pupils in Primary 6 went to join their peers to learn about the United Nations Global Goals. They discovered what the 17 goals are and how we can work together to look after our beautiful planet. We will be doing more work on this in the class in the following weeks and months. In the meantime please explore the link on the right.
Final preparations for the Open Afternoon
It has been very busy in Class 5/6 getting our personal topics ready to present to our family and friends. Everyone has worked hard to ensure their learning is displayed for everyone to enjoy. The Scottish themes include a report on the national netball team, models and booklets on Robbie Burns and posters on our rich and varied wildlife. Great work everyone!
